Diets are restrictive, and if you restrict yourself from anything you just want it more. From personal experience I have tried most every diet I could find, and while I did get temporary and immediate results, I could not maintain them.

Why would you attempt to live YOUR life the same as everyone else?
This is YOUR life.

You can’t possibly be expected to eat pre-rationed, pre-cooked, freeze dried, shipped thru the mail, meals for the rest of your life. Just to try and maintain the size you were in high school.
Because many of us are so confused between ideal weight and natural weight we need to see the difference.

Ideal weight is what the books say I should weigh, according to my height, and size of frame, age, favorite color, and hairstyle.
But that is not the case when we refer to your natural weight.

Your natural weight is what your body decides that your should weigh.
Yes you read that correctly. Your body decides.
It is that weight that you feel your best at.

It may not be the exact size you were in high school, and it will change from time to time. For me, when I was 30 it was 190, later at 40 is was 194, and now at slightly over 50 it is 205.
Oh sure I could be at 180, or even 175 if I starved myself
with only two pieces of lettuce and 3 raisins a day.
But what kind of life would that be.
No thank you.

I not only prefer this style of thinking but it has been proven, tested,
and verified over and over again, and it has worked for me, and many others.
